Etappe 1.
Maastricht naar Meerssen
Hier starten wij in Maastricht, maar je kunt natuurlijk overal instappen in de Euregio Maas-Rijn wandelroute (EMRW). Je volgt een deel van de Romeinse handelsroute Via Belgica.
Etappe 2.
Meerssen naar Spaubeek
In 1865 ondekte een priester veel Romeinse overblijfsels in het centrum van Meerssen.
Meerssen is een dorp in het Heuvelland van Zuid-Limburg met ongeveer 7.485 inwoners.

Spaubeek naar Landgraaf
Spaubeek is een dorp met circa 3.350 inwoners dat in het Geleenbeekdal ligt tegen de helling van het plateau van Schimmert. Het heeft een rijke en mooie geschiedenis met kastelen.
